Milky way over sheep ship bridge in Nevesinje

NIKOLA MIJIC | PHOTOGRAPHY

I used a Nikon D810 and a Nikon 14-24 f/2.8. The tripod was a Manfrotto 055 Pro. Single exposure, 15", f/2.8, ISO 6400. Edit: Lightroom + Photoshop.

The night was like a dream, I wanted to stay until morning, but obligations forced me to get going home. I had a few hours of driving ahead of me and preparations for the second day of XCO UCI C1 photography in my city. I only slept for 3 hours, and although I was very tired, the high temperature and sunny weather did not manage to get me going.

The Astro weekend ended with observing the sun through a telescope in Mostar.

During the month of June, there were many activities. From photographing the international cycling XCO Gradnia Clasic UCI C1 in my city, to various lectures on astro photography and an exhibition in Mostar. Astro weekend in Mostar started with an astro photography exhibition, after which we had the opportunity to listen to lectures at the Mostar Photo Club and in a way prepare for the field that we planned in Nevesinje on the Sheep Ship bridge. It is in eastern Herzegovina, about an hour from Mostar.

The weather forecast treated us nicely, first with a beautiful sunset, followed by a beautiful and peaceful blue hour.

I made several compositions, but somehow this photo is the best representation of how beautiful that place is.
